Fleishman is in Trouble, by Taffy Brodesser-Akner.
This was one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. So delicate was it in its analysis of marriage, self, parenthood, and adult friendships, and so careful was its honesty in letting the reader know it was our responsibility (an imperative, really) to take something real from this fictional story. The writing was dense and beautiful; a highly-encouraged must for 30-somethings.
