I'll Fly Away, by Rudy Francisco.

Rudy is my favorite — absolute favorite — slam poet. I obsessed over his poem “Scars,” and I think it had a lot of influence on me wanting to be a writer. I got butterflies in the aisle of Barnes & Noble when I first saw this book, and I’m so happy he wrote it. It is wonderful, as is he.
