I disciplined myself into not buying another writing book until I finished the one I’ve been trying to read in tandem for the past 3 months. This discipline isn’t meant to undermine the brilliance that is this book; it’s just meant to relay how delusional I am capable of being on a consistent basis. Like, delusional enough to convince (and believe) myself of the accuracy of this formula: buying more writing books = having more motivation to write = generating the discipline to write every day = actually writing.

Anyway, the book is incredible — especially for those looking to both get into and stay into advertising.
